There is a growing awareness of the need for flexible working arrangements to enable members of the NSW workforce to optimise their use of both work and private time to achieve efficiency and good recruitment/retention outcomes for business and manageable family lives for working people. The NSW government is committed to encouraging and enabling employers and employees in the design of flexible workplace agreements and policies to further these ends.
